LAUNCHING IN 2008

In 2008 England’s dedicated charitable trust will be launched.

The Anglo Trust aims to provide much needed charitable funding to a range of English good causes, largely neglected by the British government.

English culture under ten years of a Scottish dominated Labour government has been largely allowed to whither on the vine. Very little investment in English literature, music, film making and traditional crafts has been evident - for a growing number of years England has barely registered on the cultural map of the UK! We are now seeing the sad possibility of ancient crafts and traditions becoming simply a memory.

Stonemasonry, architecture, country crafts, writing, poetry, folk songs and dance, plays and creative arts are amongst the cultural areas that have been poorly served by government funding arts bodies, who have actively sought to marginalise English culture whilst at the same time Scottish Labour have sought to promote Scottish, Welsh and Irish indigenous cultures.

English youth has been largely allowed to fend for themselves, with limited youth facilities and opportunities made available through state intervention.

The Anglo Trust would like to work closely with Patrons and sponsors in developing a range of targeted initiatives to the young people of England, irrespective of their race or religion. These could include educational projects bringing the richness of English history and achievements to the classroom (now largely ignored) as the State instructed national educational curriculum has seen fit to drop many key aspects of English history.

The Celebration of England’s national Day – St. George’s Day 23rd April is something the Anglo Trust would very much like to promote, with events taking place across England, the government has failed to even acknowledge it.

Rebuilding our nation’s sense of purpose and reconnecting the English youth with the national history of England in all manners of educational project and events is another objective of the Trust.

If you would like to be involved in the development of the Anglo Trust, would like to become one of the patrons and philanthropists wishing to restore England’s cultural and historical legacy, the Anglo Trust can offer you a unique opportunity to work as closely as you would like on any number of new and innovative ideas.

Perhaps you have your own idea of a project you would like to be involved with, come and talk to us (without obligation) and let’s see if we can make your ideas England’s reality.

England has brought so much to the world, there is a rich cultural heritage which is being allowed to wither away, the Anglo Trust seeks to protect and promote England’s legacy and with your help create a fairer, richer, more democratic world .
